The High Court today granted anticipatory bail to KSDL president Madal Virupakshappa, who was involved in serious charges of accepting bribes to award contracts to contractors for the supply of chemicals to Karnataka Soap and Detergents Limited (KSDL).
Justice K. Natarajan Virupakshappa heard the petition. The copy of the order should appear before the investigating officer within 48 hours. 5 lakhs of Rs. A bond of Rs. The court adjourned the hearing to March 17, instructing that evidence should not be destroyed.
MLA Virupakshappa was the president of KSDL. This case has nothing to do with Virupakshappa. It has been complained that Virupakshappa's son received money.
